Our Venue & History
The Peterborough Memorial Centre is a single pad arena and event centre owned and operated by the City of Peterborough. It was built in 1956 and underwent extensive renovations in 2003 and 2019. The ice surface is 85’ x 190’ with a maximum capacity for ice events of 4050 seats, and the capacity for concerts and events ranging from 1722 to 5501, including floor capacity. The Memorial Centre is fully licensed, air conditioned and offers on-site parking for over 600 vehicles.
The arena is home to four partners, including the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame, the Peterborough Figure Skating Club, Century 21 Lakers, and the Peterborough Petes Hockey Club.
Levy Canada (Compass Group) is the exclusive food service provider at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
Concerts and Events at the Peterborough Memorial Centre
The Memorial Centre has hosted over 550 concerts and events since 1956. It has also hosted over 60 seasons of OHL hockey and over 15 seasons of MSL lacrosse, including regular season games, playoffs and championships. Here are some of the milestone concerts and events we've hosted:
